Bayside values its heritage and is committed to ensuring it is identified, protected, and celebrated.
Our city is shaped by a distinctive regional identity, a rich shared history, and the stories of our people and place.
Heritage can be in the form of buildings, structures, natural features, landscapes, moveable objects, artefacts and relics, and places of significant values. Bayside council currently manages over 390 heritage items and 6 Heritage Conservation Areas (HCA) that are listed in Schedule 5 of the Bayside Local Environmental Plan.
