Partnering with Council

Community organisations can partner with Council for external events in one of two ways:

  • A fee waiver/in-kind support, or
  • A co-hosted event

Fee Waivers & In-Kind Sponsorship

Bayside Council values the important role that community events play in building connection, celebrating culture, and supporting local wellbeing.

There are a number of ways Council can support events that are open to and benefit the community, through financial support or in-kind assistance.

Community Grants

Our Community Grants Program provides funding to help deliver programs, events, and initiatives that strengthen wellbeing, social connection, and resilience across Bayside. Find out more about the program on the Grants and Donations page.

Donations

Council also provides one-off donations for youth representation, seniors groups and general donations. More information about donations is available on the Grants and Donations page.

Fee Waivers

Eligible not-for-profit community groups may apply for a 50% waiver on hire fees for Council-managed venues and facilities, helping reduce costs when running inclusive events for the community. Details about fee waivers and application information is available on the Grants and Donations page.

Co-Hosted Events

Council sometimes partners with community organisations for co-hosted events that benefit the community. You can submit an expression of interest to have a co-hosted event with Council by completing the form below.
