With a background in costume design and environmental studies, Leah combines creativity with a strong focus on sustainability, care and repair. Since 2009, she has worked across the film and television industry while designing and producing garments locally in Sydney.

Leah also teaches fashion and textiles at the University of New South Wales and delivers workshops on mending, natural dyeing and upcycling through schools, museums, councils and festivals.

Her book, How to Keep Your Clothes Forever, was published by Harper Collins in 2025.

Through DAY KEEPER, Leah encourages thoughtful, long-lasting relationships with clothing and advocates for reducing textile waste through sustainable fashion practices.
