Bayside Council partnered with Surf Life Saving New South Wales (SLSNSW) to install two Emergency Response Beacons (ERB) on the Cooks Park foreshore.

Council have collaborated with NSW Police and the local community to establish Alcohol-Free Zones to assist in preventing irresponsible street drinking, alcohol related crime and anti-social behaviour
