The Bayside Student Excellence Awards were presented to local school students at a ceremony in the Botany Town Hall on Wednesday 4 December.

Each year Bayside Council invites Principals from the 42 Bayside schools — primary and secondary — to nominate students for the Mayoral Student Awards.

Council has resolved to investigate the Story Dogs Program and the possibility of including it in Council library programs after a resolution at the May Council Meeting.
