Bayside Council’s annual Summer Foreshore Program, Love Our Bay, is underway with residents and visitors enjoying the coastline safely and learning how to correctly take care of our beautiful bay throughout summer.
This year’s Summer Foreshore Program includes a vibrant line up of family friendly activities and events across the entire foreshore.
Winning entries from Council’s photography competition are set to be showcased along the Brighton Beach foreshore, celebrating local talent and our stunning coastal landscapes.
The Seabirds to Seascapes display at Lady Robinsons Beach continues as part of a NSW Government initiative to improve ecosystem health and raise awareness about protecting marine species.
Visitors can also enjoy bike safety workshops, engaging waste education sessions for children, and opportunities to learn about seahorse conservation efforts and seagrass regeneration projects.
This month, bird enthusiasts will be invited to farewell our migratory shorebirds at a special birdwatching event.
