Construction
Bayside Council is renewing the playground at Victory Reserve, Kogarah, located on the corner of Cross Street and Beach Street. The new playspace will provide a range of fun, inclusive and accessible play opportunities for children of all ages, while retaining the park's existing mature trees and open green space.
What's Included
The renewed playspace will include:
- Climbing, rocking, swinging, balancing, rotating and imaginative play elements.
- Shade sails over the playspace and rubber surfacing under all equipment.
- New seating around playspace, with picnic table setting and accessible drinking fountain.
- Circulation paths around the new playspace area with new footpath connection from Cross St.
- New fencing along Cross St in front of the playspace.
- Retention of all existing trees, with additional tree planting and low boundary planting.
Construction on Works Commencing
Construction is expected to commence in October 2026 after the school holidays and be completed end of Summer 26/2027, weather permitting.
