Bayside Council is removing one item of aging play equipment within Lever Street Reserve, Rosebery.
The playspace was upgraded in 2016 to a more appropriate location within the open space area and this climbing net was retained for remaining useful life, now reached.
The local area is also well serviced by several other playgrounds within walking distance including Elphick Avenue Reserve, Lionel Bowen Reserve, Mascot Memorial Park an L’Estrange Park, soon to be upgraded.
Following removal of the old play equipment at this location, the area will be levelled and returfed for passive recreation purposes.
An accessible drinking fountain will also be installed adjacent to the central pathway for use by all park visitors.
