Photography Competition Exhibition at Mascot Library
Come to Mascot Library and George Hanna Memorial Museum and see finalist and winning entries from last year's Photographic Competition on display.
Mascot Library is located at 2 Hatfield Street and is open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 12pm on Saturday. The exhibition will run until November 2024.

Join our free brain health information sessions to learn about maintaining a healthy brain and reducing the risk of cognitive decline.
We offer the sessions in eight languages at Rockdale and Eastgardens libraries. Morning tea is provided so registrations are essential.

National Tree Day 2024
Come along to the Bayside Council National Tree Day and plant a tree at the Kyeemagh Boat Ramp Reserve.
The native plantings increase native plant biodiversity and create habitat for small birds, lizards and insects.
Date/time: Sunday 28 July 2024, 11am - 2pm
Location: Kyeemagh Boat Ramp Reserve, 80 Mutch Avenue, Kyeemagh
How to get there: The event will be held next to the hockey field at Kyeemagh Boat Ramp Reserve. There is plenty of parking at the reserve along with a bicycle track that runs past the planting site. The 769 and 303 buses stop nearby.
Gloves, tools, planting equipment will be provided, along with drinking water and snacks.
Residents can RSVP by emailing Resilience@bayside.nsw.gov.au.
Winter Wonderland
Join us for a Winter Wonderland in Bexley North!
When: Saturday 3 August 2024 from 3pm to 9pm
Where: Shaw Street, Bexley North
There will be live music, ice skating, food & drink, activities and market stalls.
The celebration will feature appearances from Bluey and Bingo at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm.

Too Blue to be True: Our Migration Stories in Images
Come and join us at the exhibition launch of the 'Our Migration Stories in Images'.
Hear from Chinese Australians who will share the circumstances of, and their feelings about, immigrating to Australia 30 years ago. The journey they embarked on was a road of no return with happiness and despair, success and failure, and scene after scene.
The curation of the exhibition launch will be presented in Mandarin.
Launch date: Saturday, July 27, 10-11am
Location: Sans Souci Library
This exhibition will be open to public from Monday 29 July to Friday 27 September 2024.
Everyone is welcome to view the exhibition of photos and paintings with description in Chinese and English during Sans Souci Library opening hours:
Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm
Saturday 9am to 12pm
