For Migrant Information Day, Bayside Council will be hosting a fun and interactive day for the community to come together and learn about support and resources available for migrants and culturally diverse residents.
Migrant Information Day is about providing information on housing, health, employment, education, support and government services to newly arrived migrants and the broader multicultural community of Bayside.
Food will be provided on the day by OzHarvest.
Activities available include:
- Cooking demonstration by MasterChef contestant Emily Sue with SBS Media Hub
- Information stalls and cultural performances
- An Environment and Resilience pop-up stall
- Bilingual Storytimes in Bengali and Nepalese at Rockdale Library
Migrant Information Day is delivered in partnership with Advance Diversity Services, Georges River Council, NSW Health / Benevolent Society.
