What happens when we receive a development application.
            Complying development certificate applications
      
    Once we have received your application we will:
- review the application
- notify your neighbours
- make a decision
- if your development is approved, issue a Complying Development Certificate.
Decisions are made by Council’s certifiers.
            Development applications
      
    Once we have received your application and payment, we will:
- review the application
- request more information from you if required
- notify your neighbours
- advertise the application
- consider submissions
- make a decision
- if your development is approved, issue a consent.
If you receive a request for further information, you must provide that information within 14 days.
If you don’t provide information within 14 days, we may unnecessarily refuse your development.
Decisions are made by:
- a delegated Council officer, or
- the Bayside Council, following a review by the Bayside Planning Panel.
