Mandatory Climate Reporting Requirements
The Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) are new standards for assessing and disclosing information about an entity’s climate and sustainability-related risks and opportunities. The standards are internationally aligned to ensure consistent and transparent reporting.
Refer to the below table to determine if you are required to prepare and submit an annual sustainability report.

Small Businesses
Small businesses may be indirectly affected if they supply goods and services to those required to report under the new legislation.
If you have a customer or supplier that is a large business or financial institution, it is possible they may ask you for some information to assist them in meeting their reporting obligations.
