Bayside Council has engaged Ally Infrastructure PTY LTD to deliver a shared path upgrade along Wentworth Avenue and Page Street, Pagewood, funded by the NSW Government through the Get NSW Active program.
Works will generally include:
- Widening sections of the existing shared path.
- Upgrading pedestrian and cyclist crossings and traffic signalling at the intersection.
- Partial resurfacing of affected driveway laybacks along Wentworth Avenue.
- Associated landscaping and pavement restoration works.
What to expect
While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, residents and road users may experience:
- Temporary changes to pedestrian and cyclist access.
- Temporary traffic management and lane adjustments.
- Periodic driveway access restrictions.
- Construction on noise during approved working hours.
- Temporary parking restrictions in work areas.
Affected residents and businesses will receive advance notification of any significant changes to access arrangements.
Construction on Works Commencing
Construction is scheduled to commence mid to late September 2026 and is expected to be completed by late December 2026, weather and site conditions permitting.
Funding
This project is proudly funded by the NSW Government through the Get NSW Active Program, with Bayside Council receiving $1.57 million towards the delivery of the upgrade.
