Bayside Council have developed the plans for the playspace renewal at A E Watson Reserve in Bexley, creating a new playspace that encourages the community to play and stay longer. 

The design will be a fun, refreshed and engaging for all, improves play value and will be a space where the community can relax, connect and play. 

What’s involved 

• A new playspace for this local park in a similar location and footprint as existing
• A variety of new play equipment suitable for ages 2-12 years including swings, slides and agility and climbing activities
• A shade sail, seats, a picnic table and drinking fountain
• Improved access with a path to the playspace and a scooter track around the playspace

All existing shade trees adjacent the playspace will be retained.
