My focus is on enhancing local amenity, supporting community wellbeing, and creating an environment where residents, community organisations and local businesses can thrive. I am committed to ensuring Council delivers high-quality services, strong financial governance and meaningful community engagement.

Alongside my role as a Councillor, I serve as Professor and Deputy Dean (Strategy & Capability) at Australian Catholic University (ACU), bringing extensive experience in leadership, education, strategy, business and community engagement.

Introduction:

I have been proud to be a Councillor for Bayside since 2017 and represent the residents of Ward 1. I’ve been honoured to serve as Deputy Mayor during my time on Council.

Biography:

I’ve lived in Botany with my wife Jennifer and my three children since 2005 and have witnessed the ongoing transformation of the area since that time.

I have a strong sense of the community pulse and ‘live’ with the issues facing the residents of Ward 1 and the broader Bayside community.

With a property management and financial services background spanning 25 years, listening to people and supporting them in resolving issues collaboratively is part of my daily routine.

It is my intention to advocate strongly for residents to ensure that the best outcomes are achieved. I look forward to listening to and working with residents and other Councillors to establish a positive, progressive and cooperative Bayside culture.
