Community Grants 2024 Open

Bayside Council’s 2024 Community Grants program is now open and Bayside groups are invited to apply for funding to help support community projects and initiatives.

Local not-for-profit community organisations and groups can apply for:

  • Small Grants (up to $2,000) for the purchase of equipment, special activities or information resources.
  • Seeding Grants (up to $5,000) to develop new community, social, cultural, creative and/or leisure programs that may have an enduring community benefit. 

Council is also running the following information sessions on the application process:

Rockdale information session
Date: Monday, 19 February 
Time: 5pm – 8pm
Location: Rockdale Library, Level 3 Meeting Room, 444-446 Princes Highway, Rockdale

Hillsdale information session
Date: Thursday, 7 March
Time: 1pm – 4pm 
Location: Hillsdale Community Hall, 236 Bunnerong Road, Hillsdale

Online information session
Date: Thursday, 14 March
Time: 1pm – 4pm

Previous projects supported by Bayside Council include community art projects, repair workshops for women and girls, swimming lessons for children with disabilities and a music program for the hearing impaired.

“Community groups are the heart and soul of our community and Council’s Community Grants Program is designed to support local community organisations that deliver suitable programs or services to our residents.”
