Application process

All Winter EOI’s are to be submitted as a Seasonal request - password Winter 2023. See Seasonal Booking Request Instructions for help submitting a seasonal request.

  1. Login to the Customer Portal
  2. You will need to register for an account if you don’t have one, bookings can’t be made until your account is verified
  3. Submit your Seasonal request. Only apply for what is needed, and don’t submit blanket requests. Include all booking requirements that fall within the Winter 2023 season dates
  4. Upload your Certificate of Currency ($20 million coverage and Bayside Council listed as an interested party)
  5. Council will review all requests after 27 November, allocate fields as per its procedures and communicate outcomes
  6. Contact for any questions about this process, or if you have any issues using the online booking system.

Allocation process

The following are considered by Bayside Council when allocating fields and/or facilities:

  • All outstanding fees and charges must be paid for a club to be eligible for allocation of fields and/or facilities
  • priority for allocation will be given to:
    • locally based clubs and sporting organisations that focus on:
    • grass roots participation
    • promoting, enabling and supporting participation from our diverse Bayside community, like women
    • returning clubs and sporting organisations
    • traditional winter sports
  • a growing population and higher demand for our fields and facilities creates challenges in approving booking requests. Some facilities will also be unavailable due to redevelopment and/or improvement works, decreasing the available fields and facilities.
  • Bayside council retains the right to:
    • approve all or some of the bookings requested
    • adjust booking dates, locations, and times in consultation with the applicant
    • approve shared or casual use of seasonally allocated fields and facilities

Contact if you have any questions, or if you need help submitting your seasonal request.
