Who can attend?

Anyone 60 years and over living in the Bayside local government area (LGA), are welcome to register.

How does the high tea work?

The Mayor or his representative will welcome you at the door, and you’re then seated. High tea is then served with soft background entertainment so guests can chat and enjoy the sweet and savory delights.

An hour of feature entertainment will follow high tea where guests can sit back and enjoy the show or get up and dance.

How are registrations assessed and seats allocated?

Each registration is checked to ensure the address provided is within the Bayside.  Seating is allocated as they are received in time and date order.

Can I bring a friend?

Your friend must live in the Bayside LGA and complete a separate registration form to secure a seat. Seating is limited and provided to those who register so tickets can’t be allocated at the door.

How will I receive my ticket?

You will receive confirmation by email, SMS or phone call.

What if I have registered, but can’t attend?

Please let us know if your plans change as soon as possible so your seat can be allocated to another person on our waiting list.

Can I book for a group?

No, we don’t allow group bookings.  Members of a group can register individually and request to sit with their group under the Seating and dietary requirements section.

Can I sit with my friend?

Council will do all it can to ensure you can sit with your friend. Add your friend’s name under the Seating and dietary requirements section of the registration form, and please ensure your friend also registers.

Can I bring my carer?

You must complete a separate registration form for your carer so they can sit with you at the event. Seating is limited and provided to those who register so tickets can’t be allocated to your carer at the door.

Can I attend more than one session?

No, please select your session carefully.  You will be allocated a seat based on the session you nominated first if you book more than one.

Can my friends attend if they live in Randwick?

No, we can’t accommodate registrations from outside the LGA, only Bayside residents will receive a ticket.
I live in Botany but my friends are in Rockdale

As long as your friends live in Bayside, they are welcome to register for either Rockdale or Botany sessions.

I’m a Bayside resident, how do I register?
