Community feedback on Bayside Council’s EV Charging Rollout is now open. 

Council is proposing to install 21 new kerbside EV charging stations across the Local Government Area, starting in December 2025. 

The rollout is delivered in partnership with private operators and the NSW Government’s EV Kerbside Charging Infrastructure Fund. It supports Bayside’s Environment and Resilience Strategy 2024–2032 by: 

• Reducing emissions and encouraging EV adoption.
• Providing safe, accessible and convenient charging options for residents and visitors.
• Minimising impacts on existing parking through carefully selected locations.

Each charger will include a dedicated, timed EV parking space, with signage showing restrictions. 

The draft rollout plan, including a map of all 21 proposed sites, is now on public exhibition and open for community feedback.
