Held between Tuesday 27 May to Tuesday 3 June, the 2025 Reconciliation theme, 'Bridging Now to Next', invites all of us to reflect on the past, act in the present, and build a future shaped by truth, understanding, and unity. It is an opportunity to push forward with past lessons to guide us.

Bayside is holding a special flag raising ceremony, to be followed by keynote speeches from Freedom Rider Ann Curthoys and Traditional Elder and Chair of the Bayside RAP Committee, Aunty Barb Simms.

Ann Curthoys will share her experiences and insights on the significance of the Freedom Ride - both then and now. Aunty Barb will share her personal story growing up, the challenges she has overcome, and how her commitment to sharing cultural knowledge continues to drive her work today.
