Bayside Council’s exciting Winter Youth Holiday program offers a range of free and paid activities that give local young people the opportunity to get active, learn new skills and make friends during the holidays.
The program, consisting of many free programs, runs from Monday 8 July to Friday 22 July.
This year’s winter free activities include arts & crafts including pottery, painting, street art, cooking and more at the Arncliffe Youth Centre.
There will be an opportunity to connect with the Bayside Youth Team and enjoy a game of tennis at Barton Park, Banksia.
A Youth Pop-Up at Mutch Park Skatepark, Pagewood will provide plenty of opportunities to showcase your breakdancing moves or skating tricks.
The Shopfront Co-op in Carlton will also have plenty in store when their Senior Ensemble create a wild and wacky new show featuring the things that matter to them.
The program also includes some paid events with opportunities for training, coaching and other activities.
Beginners and experts can enjoy the thrill of Parkour at the Australian Academy of Parkour, Exercise Self Defence in Botany for $15.
A Responsible Serving of Alcohol course run by TCP Training at the Arncliffe Youth Centre costs $20.
Hitting the lanes to experience some high-energy bowling at the Manhattan Superbowl in Mascot costs $10.
