Bayside Council is seeking Expressions of Interest from community members and local groups interested in joining a proposed Walking & Cycling Advisory Committee.
The Committee will advise on strategic priorities to help create a healthier, more connected Bayside by promoting walking, cycling, and public transport over private vehicle use.
The Committee will also help support Council’s climate targets, encourage active transport, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Appointees will represent the interests of the wider community by providing advice on the strategic direction, priorities and policy principles, specifically to foster a healthier, more connected community by prioritising walking, cycling, and public transport over private vehicles.
This is a voluntary role that involves attending regular scheduled meetings.
