Bayside Council will ask local residents whether they would like a fenced dog park at Ron Gosling Reverse, Bardwell Park. 

The park is located between the T8 railway line and Darley Road and is surrounded by 18 homes. 

Council had previously consulted and approved the reserve as an off-leash dog park, retaining it as an open space for use by residents with and without dogs.

Some residents are now asking for the reserve to upgraded to include a fenced dog park.

Bayside Council will survey nearby residents asking their views on retaining the existing open space, or fencing it and formalising the off-leash dog park.
