Restoring Family Links Workshop

Friday 30 May 2025

Bayside Council is hosting a workshop on the International Tracing Service and the Restoring Family Links program that helps reconnect families separated by conflict, disaster, or migration.

The workshop is run in collaboration with the Australian Red Cross and Kogarah Community Services.

The workshop, held during Refugee Week, includes a brief history of the Restoring Family Links Program, an overview of how the process works and some real-life stories of reunion and hope.

The Australian Red Cross Restoring Links Family Links Program is a free and confidential service that can help residents find a family member missing due to war or natural disaster, and send a message to, or check on the welfare of, a relative when there is no other formal means of communication.

This free workshop is open to everyone looking to reconnect including community groups, service providers, families and individuals.
