Bayside Council’s Affordable Rental Housing Strategy, outlining Council’s support for the delivery of affordable homes for those on low to moderate income, is on public exhibition.
Bayside Council remains committed to more affordable rental housing across our area and is working with the development industry, community housing providers and the community to ensure affordable housing is well designed and reflects the character of our suburbs.
Bayside’s Affordable Rental Housing Strategy sets out a clear strategy to support the delivery of affordable housing while advocating for improved housing affordability and a diverse range of housing types while protecting existing affordable housing and monitoring progress.
The Draft Affordable Rental Housing Strategy is now on public exhibition and open for community feedback until Monday 4 August.
