Bayside Council is proud to launch its first-ever Creative Industries Forum, a full-day event designed to energise, connect and elevate the region’s creative community.
Taking place on Thursday 31 July 2025 at Rockdale Town Hall, this free forum will bring together artists, performers, designers, filmmakers, and creative entrepreneurs for a day of inspiration, learning and collaboration.
The forum features a dynamic program of panel discussions, government initiatives for creative businesses, and practical workshops, all curated to support the growth of Bayside’s creative economy.
Some of the day’s highlights include:
- Art Work: Creative Leaders in Bayside – A panel featuring local and state creative leaders discussing the future of arts in the region.
- NSW Night-time Economy & Screen NSW Programs – Insights into government initiatives that support creative businesses, including NEON Marketplace and Uptown District Acceleration.
- Making Space: Artists Transforming the Public Realm – A conversation with public artists who are reshaping how we experience art in everyday spaces.
- Marketing Your Creative Business – A hands-on workshop to help creatives grow their audience and income.
- Tour of the Rockdale Creative Precinct – A guided visit to local studios and public art installations, showcasing Bayside’s creative talent in action.
The forum is tailored for creative professionals living or working in Bayside—including theatre operators, musicians, visual artists, photographers, and digital creatives—as well as those from outside the area looking to invest or collaborate locally.
