Splash into Stories is Bayside Libraries’ Summer Reading Challenge for children and young people aged 0–18, running from December 2025 to January 2026.

The challenge is hosted on our reading platform, Beanstack – children register online, read books and log each one in Beanstack.

Readers earn a badge for each book they read, for writing reviews and for attending school holiday activities – every badge is an entry into a weekly book prize draw.

For every 5 badges (5 books) earned, participants can visit their local Bayside Library branch to collect a prize.

Families are encouraged to read as many books as they can over summer and visit their local branch to get started or find out more.
