in this workshop delivered by Yirra Tours, children will learn about and taste native plants and their nutritional/medicinal properties. These plants have been used for 1000’s of years by our First Nations people.

Participants will learn about how plants and the arrival of different animals and sealife usher in the changing seasons, and all about the rocks and soil that Sydney sits upon, and which plants thrive in such an environment.

Participants will also plant own native plant in a biodegradable pot that to take home and nurture.
