This strategy outlines the principles which informed the planning decisions made in the preparation of the Rockdale Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2011 and Rockdale Development Control Plan (DCP) 2011.
What is it?
The Rockdale Urban Strategy 2010 provided the basis for the future direction and planning of the former Rockdale local government area's urban and natural environment. It outlines the principles which informed the planning decisions made in the preparation of the Rockdale Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2011 and Rockdale Development Control Plan (DCP) 2011.
The planning priorities within the document have been the focus of planning aimed at improving the quality and character of the City. A number of these priorities continue to be progressed.
