Court Supports Gardiner Park Upgrade

The Land and Environment Court, today gave the green light for work to recommence on the construction of a synthetic playing field in Gardiner Park, Banksia and dismissed a stop work injunction taken out by the Friends of Gardiner Park against Bayside Council.

Rates Consultation Extended 

Bayside ratepayers have until the end of December to have their say on rate harmonisation following advice from the Minister for Local Government, the Hon Shelley Hancock that she will have draft legislation proposing a staggered implementation ready for Councils to review before Christmas.
