Councillor Bill Saravinovski - ALP
Mobile: 0412 139 068
Bill has been employed in the banking industry for 31 years in many management roles and possesses a strong understanding of financial and budgeting matters. Married with two young children he has lived in the Bayside Council area for more than 50 years.
He has a strong belief in our community and helping those in need. During his time on Council he built connections with community groups that have spanned decades.
He has spoken out, and will continue to speak out, against inappropriate overdevelopment, in particular the new proposals by the State Government around Bardwell Park and Turrella.
Among his key achievements was helping to deliver the Angelo Anestis Aquatic Centre under budget and on time, the Rockdale Library, the substantial upgrade of the Rockdale Town Hall, record infrastructure spending, as well as improved amenities along our beachfront.
His vision for Bayside is to keep rates low for residents and to maintain a strong budget balance to ensure we are a well-regarded Council within the community, while delivering a high quality standard of service to all our ratepayers.
