Herbicide application beachfront areas

A Bayside Council contractor is applying herbicide targeting broadleaf weeds and bindiis on the beachfront turfed areas from Kyeemagh to Sans Souci.

The herbicide application starts Monday, May 6 and is scheduled to take one to two weeks, weather permitting. Most of the works will take place at night and early morning to reduce impact to the community.

Signs will be displayed at all entry points and a spotter will be onsite while the herbicide is applied.
