Domestic Violence Remembrance Day

Join the Hon. Jodie Harrison MP, Minister for Women, Minister for Seniors, Minister for the Prevention of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault, and Bayside Councillors for a moment of reflection.

You're invited to join a candle light vigil of quiet reflection and plant a heart to remember those loved and lost. New signage will be unveiled and light refreshments available.

Candles will be provided to attendees.

Trees for Mum

Bayside Council invites you to plant a tree in honour of your mother at our Trees for Mum events on Saturday, 11 May.

We are hosting two planting events at:

  • 10am – 12noon | Mutch Park Skate Park, Pagewood
  • 1pm – 3pm | Evatt Park, Bexley

Trees for Mum is free to attend with all equipment provided, and Council staff will be on hand to help you plant your tree.

Registrations are essential.


 

Bayside Seniors High Tea

In celebration of our seniors, we are hosting free high teas at Rockdale Town Hall on Friday, 17 May, and at Botany Town Hall on Saturday, 25 May.
 
Bayside seniors are invited to register for a fabulous high tea with two sessions available at both locations, 10am to 12:30pm or 2pm to 4:30pm.
 
Each senior must complete a separate registration form, even if they live at the same address. One ticket per registration
 
Our high teas are always popular, so we recommend reading our FAQs before filling out the Seniors High Tea registration form. You must RSVP by Tuesday, 14 May.


 

Healthy Mind, Healthy You

Join our free brain health information sessions to learn about maintaining a healthy brain and reducing the risk of cognitive decline.

We offer the sessions in eight languages at Rockdale and Botany libraries. Morning tea is provided so registrations are essential.
