Make a Submission to a Meeting

Council is transitioning back to open Council Meetings following the further easing of COVID-19 restrictions, however some limitations are still in force.

Currently, you can only attend the Council Meeting to speak on an item that is on the agenda, provided you complete and submit this online form by no later than midday on the day of the Meeting. Alternatively, you can lodge a written submission by attaching it to the same online form and this also must be submitted by no later than midday on the day of the Meeting.

At this point in time, any other physical attendance by non-Council officials will be only by invitation for a particular item to ensure public safety.

Also, members of the public registered to speak on an item on the agenda will have the option to either physically attend the Council Meeting for the item registered or participate remotely by digital means.

The Meeting starts at 7pm and will now be held in the Council Chambers, Level 1, Rockdale Town Hall. Upon your arrival, you will be directed to a waiting area until your item is ready for discussion. You will also be required to complete COVID-19 registration and then wait in a waiting area until the item of business is being discussed, at which time you will be asked to enter the Council Chambers.

Once the item of business has been decided we respectfully ask that you leave the Chambers thereby allowing other speakers for the other items of business on the agenda, to speak.

To make the Council Meeting accessible during COVID-19 restrictions Council does stream each Meeting live on Facebook.
