Urban Context Report Fact sheet

What is it?

The Urban Context Report includes detailed site and context analysis, design response and the proposed building envelopes. The proposed building envelopes are illustrated in a UCR by using three-dimensional massing model(s).

The illustrations expected in a UCR differ from a Development Application (DA), since the report does not require the architectural detail that is shown in DA plans.

How does it work?

The Urban Context Report will accompany a planning proposal for assessment and community consultation purposes.

Council only requires a UCR when a planning proposal proposes to amend development standards for a site, such as height, minimum lot size or floor space ratio controls under the Rockdale Local Environmental Plan 2011 (RLEP 2011), Botany Bay Local Environmental Plan 2013 (BBLEP 2013) or Botany Local Environmental Plan 1995 (BLEP 1995).
