Our online Development Application (DA) Tracker enables you to view development applications currently with Council, as well as decisions relating to completed Development Applications.
Notice: due to systems maintenance this weekend - 2pm Saturday 7 to 11pm Sunday 8 March 2020 - DA Tracker use may be disrupted. Please keep refreshing your browser.
What is the DA tracker?
The DA Tracker is an online service that enables you to view Development Applications when they are on exhibition, and to track progress as they are assessed. This service is part of our ongoing commitment to transparency.
NOTE: - Please be advised that due to Council’s harmonisation of systems, some DA numbering alterations have occurred for Former City of Botany Bay applications.
It is therefore recommended that you search for your application by address, not by DA Number. However, if you are having trouble viewing documents, please contact Council's Customer Service Centre on 1300 581 299 for assistance.
Council appreciates your patience while we work to providing a seamless DA Tracking system for all applications.
Making a submission
Any person (either owner or occupier) who feels that their property / locality may be affected by a proposed development may lodge a submission in response to a notified or advertised Development Application.
All submissions must specify the application number and the respective property address. If the submission is an objection, the reasons for the objection must be clearly explained in the submission. It is important that submission letters only contain information relevant to the property and the development proposed.
To make a submission on a Development Application, please send it by email or post mail as a written submission to Bayside Council.
Address: Bayside Council, PO Box 21, Rockdale NSW 2216.
NOTE: - The supply of personal information is voluntary. If personal information is not provided, Council may be limited in dealing with a submission. Submissions, summaries of submissions, and/or names and addresses of people making submissions may be included in publicly available reports to Council. This includes the publication of submissions in full onto Council's website.
Please go to the Development pathways page for useful information regarding development requirements relating to renovating, building, subdividing or first use / change of use.
