Lodging an Application
All Council development forms listed below can be downloaded as PDFs. You can also come into Council for copies of the relevant forms required for your application. Please ensure you use Council's most up to date forms for lodging applications, as old forms may not be accepted.
Please note, Council requires electronic lodgement of all plans and supporting documentation in digital form (as PDF documents contained on a CD or USB or similar device - the CD or USB will be kept by Council) in accordance with our Electronic Lodgement Guidelines, which also includes guidelines on document naming conventions.
If you need any advice or further information when completing a form, please contact us. Note that all development, engineering and related applications must be lodged between the following times (however, note that development applications should be lodged with at least 45 minutes for processing and lodgement time, or more if a larger development, to ensure lodgement by close of business):
- 8:30am - 4pm Monday to Friday; and
- 9am - 12:30pm Saturday.
Changes to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979
The Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 has been updated by NSW Planning and Environment, with most changes coming into force as of 1 March 2018. The amendments change the structure of the Act and therefore the references to various clauses in the Act listed on Council's forms have changed. For example, a Section 96 modification is now known as a Section 4.55 modification, though the content of that clause is largely unaltered. Most requirements for lodging applications or the actual requirements on those forms are largely unchanged.
