Transport for New South Wales has installed two new temporary traffic lights on West Botany Street, Rockdale
As part of the M6 Stage 1 project, temporary traffic signals and parking changes are now in place at the entrance to their construction sites along West Botany Street. These will remain until project competition 2025.
In the upcoming months, there will be large quantities of spoil removed from tunnelling activities which will increase the number of truck movements along West Botany Street and nearby streets.
The temporary traffic signals will enable controlled entry and exit for trucks, making it safer for the community and road users.
