Bayside Council’s Summer Youth Holiday program offers a range of free events and activities that give local young people an opportunity to get active and learn new skills.
“This program features a range of free activities for young people over the holiday period,” Mayor Dr Christina Curry said.
“As well as being able to drop-in to Community Halls in Hillsdale and Eastlakes there are a number of activities in the Arncliffe Youth Centre as well as outdoor activities.”
This year the Summer Youth Holiday Program features free Basketball, Oz Tag Futsal and Skateboarding workshops as well as drama and dance classes.
The free skateboarding workshop at Rockdale Skatepark is run by the Concrete Riders crew from Concrete Skate Supply.
There is also $1000 worth of Concrete Skate Supply giveaways and prizes up for grabs.
This program is hosted by Bayside Council Youth Services.
Participants must be aged between 12-25 to attend and live, work, study or have a strong connection to the Bayside local government area.
