National Simultaneous Storytime From Space

Bayside Council is taking part in National Simultaneous Storytime again which is set to be the most exciting Storytime yet.

The Australian Library Association and Scholastic Australia have partnered with the Australian Space Agency and the Office of the Chief Scientist to host National Simultaneous Storytime read from space.

The book Give Me Some Space! by Philip Bunting will be read by an astronaut from the International Space Station on Wednesday 19 May 2021 and streamed in the library.

The Children's Discovery Museum is also joining us to run a workshop for participants about space.

Join us for heaps of fun while learning about moon phases, how to spot the International Space Station and create a planet mobile.

Eastgardens Library and Sans Souci Library are offering two sessions each for preschoolers and their carers to join us for a Storytime from space and a space workshop.
