In support of International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women join S.M Matthews as he talks about his novel The Skinny Girl.
The Skinny Girl is a thought-provoking story about a victim of emotional domestic abuse. Through Daisy Croucher’s life, readers see that there can be hope while we are exposed to the powerful, raw truth about what is a hidden subject.
Although this is a work of fiction, it is based on interviews, research, published works and other materials. It deals with women's issues, domestic abuse, and adversity.
Steve is donating all of his income from this book, in perpetuity: 50% to the Homicide Victims’ Support Group (Aust) Inc. and 50% to various other organisations that help the victims and families of domestic abuse in many different ways.
