Please note, Council requires electronic lodgement of all plans and supporting documentation in digital form (as PDF documents contained on a CD or USB or similar device - the CD or USB will be kept by Council) in accordance with our Electronic Lodgement Guidelines, which also includes guidelines on document naming conventions.

Changes to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

The Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 has been updated by NSW Planning and Environment, with most changes coming into force as of 1 March 2018. The amendments change the structure of the Act and therefore the references to various clauses in the Act listed on Council's forms have changed. For example, a Section 96 modification is now known as a Section 4.55 modification, though the content of that clause is largely unaltered. Most requirements for lodging applications or the actual requirements on those forms are largely unchanged.

For further information, please call the Department of Planning and Environment Information Centre on 1300 305 695, Council’s Customer Service on 1300 581 299 or check online.
