This year the flavours of Ramadan are coming to Bayside.
Travel the culinary hotspots of the world when Sydney’s newest night market kicks off in Walz Street, Rockdale on Saturday 11 May.
“Ramadan at Bayside is a community Iftar — to break the day’s Ramadan fast — and the chance to share the hospitality and food of our multicultural community during this special month. It promises to be a delicious event showcasing the halal food of our diverse community,” Mayor Bill Saravinovski said.
Run over four Saturdays during Ramadan this family-friendly night food market will be an opportunity for the whole community to share the spirit of Ramadan.
There will also be a jumping castle, play centre and face painting to keep the kids occupied.
