Purpose of the Role 

The City Presentation directorate ensures that our area is presented in an aesthetically pleasing manner, that is clean, enjoyable to live in and instils pride in our community.

The role is responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance services for Civil Assets including roads and drainage, street sweeping, restorations, waterways and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver capital works programs, maintenance works and street sweeping to implement Council’s Operational Plan and comply with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1997
  • Monitor and review the financial budgets to identify and report variations and amended forecasts to the Manager City Works
  • Implementing strategies to ensure the safety of staff and the public given the need to comply with legislative and Council health and safety obligations and to minimise risk of injury and harm

Essential Requirements

  • Tertiary or other qualifications and/or equivalent experience in a relevant field
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams within relevant field
  • A SafeWork NSW White Card (General Construction Induction Card)
  • Current Driver’s Licence Class C
