Virtual Town Halls

The Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Councillors are running a series of online forums, providing you with clear and relevant information about lockdown rules, services and support.

The next Virtual Town Hall will be held on Thursday 21 October at 6:30pm.

Lunch and Learn

To help with lockdown we are hosting a series of lunch and learn sessions across a range of topics.

From Mindfulness Monday to Flashback Friday these sessions are free, online and open to everyone.

Youth programs and events

During lockdown were hosting a program of free online activities and virtual events for young people.

These events are for Bayside residents aged 12- 25. We may ask you for proof of age and residency.

Registrations are essential.

In this session we answered your questions about the rules and restrictions.

Topics included:

  • the 5km rule: where your 5km starts and stops, exemptions

  • boundaries: lockdown of full vs partial local government areas

  • caring and compassionate exemptions

  • maks: compliance and exemptions

  • compliance, particularly in group gatherings

  • vaccinations: eligibility, where to get vaccinated

  • testing: locations and walk-in options
